Questions
What can I play here?

A daily board shared by everyone that day, a free run that deals new eras each time, a blind draft with the numbers hidden, and a salary-cap version where the budget does the arguing for you.

How deep is the hockey pool?

From the Original Six years through the expansion decades to the current league. Every card is one real season with the goals, assists or goaltending line it actually posted.

How do you compare an 80s scorer with a modern one?

By the scoring environment he played in. The 1980s produced numbers the dead-puck years made impossible, so a 50-goal season is read against what 50 goals meant that year rather than against an all-time list that would let one decade dominate the whole board.

Do I need a goaltender?

You do, and the seat cannot be filled with a forward you like. A goalie is scored on wins, save percentage and shutouts, so the position either holds up over a long season or quietly ends your run in the spring.

What is the daily hockey board?

One shared roster per calendar day, dealt the same to everyone. Finish it, watch the season play out, and your record joins that day's table.

Are European and junior careers included?

The pool is built on NHL seasons, because that is where the record is complete and comparable. A player's time elsewhere is part of his story but not part of the numbers this board scores.
