Questions
What is playable here?

The daily board deals one shared roster for the calendar day. A free run gives you new eras each time. Blind draft hides the production so you are drafting on the name a program made for itself. Salary cap puts a budget on it and forces you to leave somebody out.

How far back do the college seasons go?

Deep into the sport's early decades and forward to the current game. Every card is one real college season — the yards, the touchdowns, the tackles that season produced — and it is the college years that are rated, not what the player did afterwards in a professional league.

Is a great college player the same as a great pro?

Not here, and that is deliberate. Plenty of the most dominant college seasons ever played belonged to players who never translated, and several quiet college careers turned into professional greatness. This board scores what happened on Saturdays.

How are different eras of college football compared?

Each season is judged against the game as it was played that year. A single-wing season from the 1930s and a modern spread season are nothing alike statistically, so both are measured against their own decade instead of against a common yardstick that would flatter only one of them.

Which programs can I draft from?

Programs are identified by a place and range of years, spread across the conferences that have actually produced the sport's history rather than only the ones winning now. That place-and-era label determines the eligible player-season pool.

What is the daily college football board?

One roster per day, identical worldwide. Draft it, let the season simulate, and your record goes on that day's shared table. Because the spins are the same for everybody, the argument afterwards is about the picks and nothing else.
