Why eras, not just teams?

A random team gives you a name. A random franchise era gives you a squad — the exact window a roster was worth arguing about. Every era in the reel is real, city and years only, from the title runs of the fifties to last season’s contenders. Land one and the receipt keeps only the facts worth knowing: authored team results and aggregate Hall of Fame, champion, and All-Pro counts. It may tease one unranked name; the full player list and season stats begin in the choice list.

It’s the real draft, not a toy spinner

This is the same board the full game deals. Spin a franchise era, draft one real player from its actual roster — real season numbers on every card — fill twelve seats, and the season simulates week by week. Chase 17-0. Play the full filter, spin the career filter, or read up on every undefeated NFL season ever before you chase your own.

Questions people actually ask

How does the NFL team randomizer work?

One tap spins across 103 real franchise eras — a city and a window of years. It lands on a specific team era and shows its record, archive depth, position coverage, aggregate honors and one unranked name from the pool. Tap through to draft the full list. Spin as often as you like.

Can I use it to pick a random NFL team to build around?

That’s the idea. Landing on an era hands you that team’s real roster to draft — keep one player, spin the next era, and you’re building a squad with real season numbers on every card. Take it into the full game

Is this the “build a 17-0 team” filter?

Same idea, played for real. The AR face-filter version is a video effect; here the randomizer spins you a franchise era, you draft that era’s actual roster across twelve seats, and the season simulates — so you can genuinely build a 17-0 team and try to go undefeated.

How do I get the NFL filter on TikTok?

Open the TikTok camera, tap Effects, and search “NFL” — the randomizer and career effects both live there, and creators link the exact effect from their videos. Or skip the hunt: this page is the same spin in the browser, with a real draft behind it.

Is there an NFL filter app?

You don’t need one — this is the NFL filter as a free web game. It runs in the browser on any phone or computer: spin the randomizer, draft the team it lands on, and chase 17-0 without installing anything.

Does it include old and relocated teams?

Yes. The pool runs back to the fifties, and because every era is city-and-years, a franchise shows up under each home it has had — Oakland, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas each carry their own eras of the same line.

What’s a “legend era”?

Each franchise has several windows in the pool — recent teams and older ones. The classic, deep-history eras land flagged as legend eras, in gold: the oldest and most storied rosters here, and the reel throws sparks when one lands.

Is the spin actually random?

Yes — every era in the pool has the same shot on each tap. No streak-fixing, no house favorites.
